I have SEVEN (count them) 7 more radiation treatments!!! I really am feeling amazingly good thus far. I think I expected much worse. Lee and I laugh because we would have to go through this, regardless of the reaction or our attitude, so we might as well keep our chin up. I said it reminds me of that thing we used to say to our kids, when they balked at something they needed to do: "You can do this happy or sad - it is your choice - but you are still going to do it."
I choose happy.

I am very inspired by your posts. You are one amazing person.
I agree with Jordan! I'm so excited that you are on the tail end of your treatments.
Yea for spring!

Hey Shauna & Jordan, I love checking in here and finding comments from sweet friends. It lets me know that I am not alone in the universe! Cute.
Those are trees from your yard, are they? I am getting soooo hungry for spring.
Good luck as you wrap up your treatments. Maybe the prayers of our cute little kidlets for their Oma have been helping!
I wish these were trees from our yard. We took this photo on a trip, but who knows? Maybe our little trees will be ready to blossom away this year! Thanks so much for all the prayers and kind wishes. I do know that the prayers of little ones carry special weight!!!
my dear friend...i have been busy in life for a while and missed all your trials...wouldn't it be nice if we were busy in our own lives and could miss OUR trials? loved the flowers from Kemsleys...also, tell Lee the yard looks fabulous...very peaceful and beautiful. So glad to hear you are surviving chemo and pray you soon will be thriving. there is so much courage required to take this path...i love you and am happy to know you will be with us a while longer. loved the family photo in red on your homepage...such a lovely group...we are getting back to life as normal, without bill's mom who passed away in Feb...all around a wonderful event, could not have asked for a smoother transition. bills dad is still with us and in good spirits. life is a little simpler and that is always helpful. take care
