Building a room for Katie!

We are so excited to finally be able to turn the two small storage rooms into one nice bedroom for the grandkids. It is time Caitlin had her own room when she comes to visit. After all, who would dream of making a Princess sleep in the hall!

Take a look at the step by step process:

The only bare concrete wall is the one that ran next to the large shelving nook in the storage room.



This is how that corner looked after Lee firred out the concrete wall - getting ready for sheet rock!



Lee said the hardest job was removing the tackless strip under the carpet. We are going to tile the room.



The funny line running through the middle of the picture shows where the wall used to be - dividing the "Bat Cave" from the storage room.
