Chronicle of a house fire

I imagine you have heard my tales of woe about the "great fire of ought seven" ('07), so you may not want to revisit this long and boring story. If so, this message is not for you. I am mainly writing it as a journal entry, and want to add some photos to help me remember what we've been through these past 5+ months.

Here are some photos of after the fire:

This is the microwave!
These are the windows that blew out!

Here is a stack of hardwood, ready to be installed in the kitchen. The three windows run along the south wall of our new addition.

This is the stack of sheetrock that I
managed to pull over on my foot!

These are the French doors that lead from the living room into the kitchen. We will stain them to match the hardwood floor

I'm so glad you are posting about this. What a great way for all of us to 'see' the progress.

Bet you can hardly wait for it all to be over.

I like the French doors too. That will be a pretty space!

You should put up pictures as the kitchen is being installed!
