We had weeds - FOURTEEN feet high - in our back yard. I neglected to get photos, so take my word for it! We were so involved with the house fire, and all the fun that entails, that we totally neglected our backyard, the poor thing! So, when the neighbor started commenting about the weeds hanging over his fence, and dropping weed seeds, we decided the time had come to do something about it.... We tried pulling them by hand, but that was just NOT making it, so Lee rented a cute little front loader and went to town! Here are some pics, and I may even manage to upload a video, though I didn't get outside with my camera in time to actually film the little machine in action.

I would love to rent one of those to rip up and re-do our front yard... And isn't it funny how boys never seem to ougrow those same toys that they loved playing with in the sandbox?
Dylan loved the video of Dad on the front loader. But he insisted that it is a "kid" (a skid). I am glad you are blogging.
Dylan is so right! In fact, it gets even better. It is a "skid steer", so according to Dylan, it is technically a "Kid steer" (so why are adults driving it???) too funny!
